 Evergreen Flower Decoration

As the winter subsides, the blossoming of greens indicates the hope that the season of spring is returning.

The landscape is green when the tall evergreens dominate the scenery a symbol of triumph, longevity and immortality.

The nature in the woods is a picture of an abundant field bringing joy, love, and tranquility.

Green has also been associated with charity, freedom, gaiety, kindness, justice, peace and sympathy.

Evergreen flower decoration is a welcome treat of color to an otherwise pallid Christmas winter.

Evergreens have been used at Christmastime for centuries because they represent everlasting life and hope for the return of the effervescent spring season.

Evergreen is also associated with the smell of the holidays. In the countryside, holiday tables are spread with pretty floral table decorations -- evergreen branches along with lemon-grass stalks rosemary, bay leaves, fruit, rose petals and other assortment of flowers and fruits.

In other portions of the house lie various adornments, from dainty potpourris to large impressive floral arrangements.

Christmas flower decoration has a particular worth.  Each of the flowers in the wreath - Christmas rose, Holly, Poinsettia, Ivy and Mistletoes ignifies a meaning, evoking the spirit of Christmas -- peace, love and prosperity.

Holly leaves, with its spines, and red berries reminded early Christians of the crown of thorns and blood of Christ; holly branches were used to express good will and friendship.

But it is always the evergreens, as floral decorations with splashes of green abound.  Last-minute flower decorations and decorative touches of seasonal blooms and colorful foliage are mixed leaf-laden evergreen branches the result is a quick clever Christmas touch and can even extend as a New Year flower decoration.
