Classroom Decoration Idea
Where college is the only exemption, every
boy and girl's school life is centered on one home
classroom for the rest of each school year.
Aside from
the schoolyard, these settings are where life is apt to
happen a quarter of every cultured person's life,
so one could only compromise.
It's not that bad - sometimes the right
interior decoration idea may just suffice for boys and girls
from kindergarten (K) through fifth (5th) grade.
Given that a classroom has at least the amenities
of a writing board, the teacher may consider sprucing the room
with at least two bulletin boards, among other classroom decoration
ideas. They may measure 24"x 36", available in just
about any school/office supplies store.
One of the boards may
serve as calendar, the other a reminder of seasons and holidays,
and yet another one a projection of the progress of pupils. Posting a pack of Aa, Bb, Cc sheets, otherwise important teaching tools, is also one superlative room decoration idea. |

Aside from using
it for needlepoint, plastic canvas, especially those in
resplendent colors, can easily be cut along the lines,
or in patterns to make borders, picture frames, work frames,
accent shapes, bookmarks, placemats, weaving, and lots
more.
Yet something like a drab desk may spoil it
all. The teacher may consider sprucing up the desk
by covering it with birthday wrapping paper.
To resuscitate
life into an otherwise three-file cabinet, one may make
it double as a birthday reminder. The cabinet may be embellished
with die-cut colorful balloons, each attached with curly
ribbon at the bottom.
Each one of these can be written with the student's
name and corresponding birthday. As a wall decoration idea, old
CDs may be taped on walls or door windows. Kids may just love looking
at these makeshift decorations. Sometimes choosing a unifying theme can accentuate the room beyond imagination. The theme can even be conveyed from the ceiling. Colorful yarn may be tied on one end to a clothespin. |
Then the teacher can glue a laminated cutout or punchout
relating to the school room decoration idea or theme on either
side of the clothespin. If the ceiling allows, the other
side of the yarn may then be affixed unto the ceiling in that
the punchouts provide great marvels of suspension.
The next time one considers a classroom decoration idea, it must be remembered that using old cardboard boxes, garbage bags or grocery bags to contain teaching resources is tolerating eyesore. In place of such fallible room decoration ideas, using clear plastic boxes is one sound option.
