It is common practice nowadays for parents to shower their children tons upon tons of gifts every time their kids celebrate their birthdays, or when they do well in school.

Try hitting the toy section of a department store near you and chances are, you’ll bump into a man whose shopping bags are literally bursting with the latest action figures or dolls that they intend to give their kids.
