Any house, hall or outdoor location can be transformed into a great place for theme parties even with a small budget if you have the right food and of course, just the perfect theme party decoration.

Throughout the years people from all ages find theme parties a great way to make any occasion livelier and fun.

Kids and adults often invite friends over for a pajama or a slumber party, which is very practical since they need not worry about what's the right thing to wear and the host's parents would only need to think about the food to serve.

Theme party decorations vary on the occasion being celebrated and are usually inspired from something that the celebrant likes. Kids for example would absolutely love their birthdays when their party is themed after a favorite cartoon character or game.

Everything from birthday cake decorations to party balloon decorations often contain images and figures inspired from the theme. Little boys may appreciate and outdoor celebration with Mexican party decorations.

Theme parties among grown-ups on the other hand ideally happens at night. Dinner party decorations and other party poopers of course should not be missing.

Make sure you have enough space for the theme items, collect the items that relates to the theme of the party, and do not over decorate any party. For children theme party, it should be funky and colorful, for birthdays, make it full of treats and balloons, and for

Hawaiian theme, use tiki torches and arrange party on the grass and outdoors. Avoid heavy furniture and use chairs and tables, and allow a free space for guests to easily move around.;

Dances at high schools for example are usually themed after movies where boys and girls come in their typical Cinderella and Knight in shining armor costumes. Since such events are ideally indoors, it would be no good to use huge props that may look better as an outdoor party decoration. 

During summer, the best theme one could ever think about is probably a beach party. For people in places where the beach is accessible, beach party decorations may no longer be much of an issue to worry.

For a beach party minus the beach, summer foods, a sandbox and swingsets will do the trick especially for the tykes. A pool is also one of the best places to hold a Hawaiian Luau.
