It is possible to get cookie cutters shaped
like a baby's foot, and you can use this in a number
of ways to brighten up your baby party decoration.
You
can make impressions in a table cloth, and you can also
use it on the birthday cake, to make it seem as though
the baby has trodden on the cake.
If there are other small children present at the
party, you might make some baby party decorations with booties: fill them with suitable sweets, and hang them from chairs
and door handles (though not too many, or your guests will
become unmanageable insomniacs).
You might decide to theme your baby party decorations, though you should always bear in mind that the guest of honour will remember nothing. Therefore, you can make the theme much more general than you will be able to in later years.
