A cake for a baby's first birthday needs to be a pretty special affair. Baby cake decorations need to take into account that small stomachs cannot take a lot of very rich food: and the sugar content of most cake decorations is not for baby. Even good old chocolate, the staple of many a great kid's birthday cake, can cause tummy upset in a baby.
